Parent Circle

What is Together?

Together is a parent support group created to hold space for you and your full experience of being a parent. The circle is intended to foster connection, to learn from each other, and access resources that may be needed during this tender time. Together is hosted by experienced, trauma-informed birth workers. Our intention is to nurture a healing centered experience in community.

✴︎these agreements are borrowed and informed by michelle c johnson

(race and resilience and dRworks)

  • speak your truth - speak from your own experience, share your true feelings and thoughts

  • confidentiality - what’s shared in the circle stays in the circle

  • invitation not expectation - feel free to share when you are called to, you don’t have to

  • respect each other's views and path - everyone is walking their own path, be curious and remember one way is not better than the other

  • listen to understand - not necessarily to respond

  • embrace non-closure - discomfort can lead to growth and things are not always binary

  • mutual care - we are loving ourselves and each other into the people we want to be
